The Science Granting Councils Initiative (SGCI) Research Management Project is hosting a Training of Trainers workshop at the Radisson Blu Mosi-oa-Tunya Livingstone Resort in Zambia from 14th to 17th August 2023.
This four-day capacity-building workshop will focus on various topics related to Research Excellence, Research Ethics, and Good Financial Grant Practices. The primary objective is to equip participants with essential skills and knowledge in these areas to improve their outcomes and more generally, to strengthen Africa’s research ecosystem. An engagement session by the Africa Centre of Technology Studies (ACTS) is also featured on the workshop’s programme, in line with the SGCI’s overall effort of promoting cooperation, synergistic efforts and collocation among the collaborating technical agencies (CTAs) whenever feasible.
The workshop has been organised by the Association of African Universities in partnership with the African Academy of Sciences.
